The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care to the residents of the health and rehabilitation center, assisting them in activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse. Those duties include but are not limited to: bathing, dressing, serves and collects food trays, feeds residents, measures and records weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed.

Qualifications:

• Must have current Virginia Nurse Aide license in good standing or be within 100 days of completion of state approved CNA course.

Albermarle Health & Rehabilitation Center in Charlottesville is seeking LPNs & RNs for its 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. This is a Baylor Program role which includes a schedule of Friday through Monday only. Through the Baylor Program an LPN or RN is eligible for base pay + 30% as well as a $10,000 Retention Bonus.

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Albermarle Health & Rehabilitation Center in Charlottesvilleis seeking an RN for our Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Prevention position.

The RN Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Prevention manages and provides required education to the entire staff and is also responsible for employee health.

Employee health encompasses administration and management of Hepatitis B vaccinations and PPD annual checks. Requires expert knowledge of basic nursing skills (patient assessment, infection control, IV therapy, medication administration, etc.) and a desire to pass that knowledge on to others.

The Staff Development Coordinator works closely with the HR manager to provide new hire orientation. The SDC evaluates the educational needs to ensure on-going continuing education and adherence to applicable required in-service education for all staff. Identifies, assesses, and implements in-service programs as needed regarding the satisfactory performance of clinical skills and knowledge.

Serves as Infection Control Nurse, reports infection control practices to Infection Control Officer and Administrator.

Qualified candidates must be a licensed RN, have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a nurse, and clinical training experience.

The ideal SDC candidate will have the qualifications to teach CNA classes however we will support them to achieve this educational goal upon hire but not required.

We are seeking a candidate that can provide discharge planning as well as comprehensive medically related social services to our patients. Responsibilities include MDS, Care Plans, Assessments and timely documentation operating within the framework for the company's standards for best practice in accordance with all state and federal regulations.

The qualified candidates will have a 4-year degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or other human services related degree.
